Hi everyone! It's Rachel from Ruvna's Client Success team.
There's a particular energy to this time of year. New faces in the hallways, fresh plans on the whiteboard, and the mix of nerves and optimism that comes with a brand new academic year. Before you get too far into the sprint of it all, I wanted to say hello and take a moment to look back at the year we had together.
Whether we connected on an implementation call, in a training, or in one of those quick "can you jump on real fast" messages, you already know the part I care about most: it's about you, the people who trust in Ruvna and show up every day to keep your campus safe. This was a big year for Ruvna. From where I sit, the real story of the year is in the community itself, and how much stronger it has become.
As you step into everything this new year holds, we wanted to mark how far we've come together. We're sharing our second annual Ruvna Impact Report: a look back at the wins and milestones, with a few words from our team to close.
A Note from Our CEO, Joey Nutinsky
This report is going to look like a summary of what Ruvna did this year. It isn't. It's a record of what your schools did. A student's arrival logged at the door and turned into attendance without anyone chasing it down. A visitor signed in at a kiosk your team has made both welcoming and secure. A request for assistance sent about something small, and another sent about something that wasn't. Every student accounted for during a drill, and in a few of your buildings, during a real emergency. Those are your numbers, not ours. Our job was making sure the technology worked every time your team reached for it.
That's what drives the work here. Dismissal is one of the most chaotic and high-stakes parts of a school day, which is why we spent this spring building and launching Ruvna Dismissal. The schools who piloted it did the hard part. You stress-tested it, told us plainly what worked and what didn't, and pushed back when we got it wrong. Thank you for building it with us.
Behind the scenes, we invested heavily this year in the systems and infrastructure that let a small company move quickly. We also expanded the team, which means more people building the things you’ve asked us for, more people to pick up the late-night call, and more capacity to support you the way you deserve. None of that changes what the job actually is. Being a real partner to the technology, operations, and security leaders who trust us is the most important work we do, and we intend to grow our reach without losing the personal, high-touch way of working that got us here.
We are nowhere near done. Ruvna began as a tool for staff, a way to account for every student when it mattered most. Announcements gave you a way to reach families, though only in one direction. Visitor Management brought the front desk in. Attendance put an app in students' hands. And this year, Dismissal brought parents further into the picture than any product we've built. That circle keeps widening, and where it goes next is the work I'm most excited about.
Our mission is an all-in-one safety and operations platform for K-12 schools, and the list of what we still want to build is longer than the list of what we've shipped. There's still a patchwork of disconnected systems in your buildings that we'd like to help you untangle.
From the entire Ruvna team, thank you for another year of trusting us with your community. Getting to work alongside education leaders who care this much about their students is what makes it worth doing. We can't wait to see what this year looks like with you.

A Look Back at the Year
It was a year of steady building across every corner of the platform. Here's a quick look at what came to life in AY '25-'26.
New ways to keep students safe
- Ruvna Dismissal. Our biggest launch of the year, bringing structure and safety to one of the most unpredictable moments in a school's day.
- Ruvna 911 Connect. Through our new partnership with Noonlight, schools can now shave critical seconds off emergency response times, a capability built directly from the feedback you gave us.
- A reimagined Visitor Management experience. Prohibited-visitor alerts, self sign-out, trusted-visitor passes, and a redesigned kiosk that feels less like security screening and more like a welcome desk.
- Deeper integrations through Webhooks. Ruvna now connects with the tools you already rely on, from Zoom and Verkada to your paging and classroom systems, so a single action in Ruvna can set everything in motion at once.
Showing up for our community
- The Connected Schools webinar series. Our monthly gatherings kept growing all year, with the spring sessions setting new records for attendance and engagement.
- Fostering deeper industry partnerships. From ATLIS 2026 to new partnerships and thought leadership, we spent the year in the rooms where school safety is being figured out.
None of these achievements happened in a vacuum. Every launch, every session, every integration begins with your needs in mind.
